spinoff to restaurants: most romantic restaurant on long island?
our anniversary is coming up, and although DH swears he's planning it, just wondering what people feel is their most favorite, incredibly romantic restaurant

We went to Nic Diangelos in Long Beach last year. I thought that was pretty romantic

we go there all the time- we love it
and since we live in Long Beach we actually get food delivered from there in the winter

We live in LB also, in the West End, and we walk to Nic D's on the beach. I think that adds to the romance of the night.

I like the Carltun-- but I am biased.. they also have a dark, cozy wine room that they do dinners in on Fri and Sat..

For me it would have to be Calegero's on Franklin Avenue in Garden City. A nice small romantic italian restauarant, that is where me and Kimberly got engaged and had our rehersal dinner their as well. The food their is amazing. Highly recommend.

Oak Room at Bethpage State Park...we went there for our 1st anniversary of dating...they gave us one of those round booths with the high back facing the golf course...it was one of the most romantic dinners we had
