Spinoff to Registry Peeking
How many of you do it?? I was reprimanded today for checking mine.....
I understand it is supposed to be a surprise, but I already know what I registered for since I did it, and really, I dont know who bought the items....that will still be a surprise. Plus, what if I need to go and add some stuff??

I check it all the time - and there is nothing wrong with it at all. You know what you put on there - and you don't know who bought it - so it's harmless!

I peeked like CRAZY!!! And my justification was just as you said...I put it on there, don't know who bought what, and I may want to add/delete things!!
It's so hard NOT to peek. I used to peek everyday, sometimes 1/hour!!

I was checking mine all last week up until I left for the shower on Sunday afternoon! 
DH made fun of me...I didn't care. It's fun to watch stuff move to the purchased side!

I understand wanting ot peek, but if you want to be surprised as to when your shower is then don't peek, cause you'll be able to tell if the shower date is getting nearer when the stuff is flying off your registry.
I know when my shower is....I was asked for my input on the date!!!

Well, it was hard since both of the soon to be grandparents are planning most of it, and they have such differing schedules...so I gave some input on the situation to help out. My wedding shower was a surprise, so it is ok if this one doesn't surprise me. Plus, I would like a chance to get something cute to wear--and that can be hard these days to find something that looks nice given where we live, and I have to travel to find clothes or buy online and hope for the best....
