Spinoff to Ponder this...
OK, here's the new question to consider (my apologies if it has already been asked)
And by the way, I am not referring to anyone in particular... just a general inquiry.
Can a poster be redeemed? If there are people who regularly create drama on certain threads, can they ever been accepted again by the LIF community?
Can someone who is a drama starter ever have their future posts taken seriously? Or will people look at the name who started it and immediately  ?
From my perspective, I try to look at a post for what it is, not necessarily for who it's coming from. But I am not sure everyone thinks that way.

since I don't consider myself to "know" anyone on these boards *except those that I have seen/touched/tasted * I *try* to keep an open mind.
sometimes certain posters bring NOTHNG but drama...woe is me...blah blah blah...trying to be mean whatever. that just bores me. but if they also posted something interesting/fun, I'd participate in that.
I don't know what all this means

Certainly!! One poster in particular comes to mind (I won't name names so don't ask), she was new and something she said created a blowout and major drama. She wasn't even aware that she had created such controversy and the next day apologized for the trouble.
It wasn't a matter of her thoughts being "wrong", she simply communicated them poorly. I believe in the end she redeemed herself.

A few posters here and several on LIF back in the day always posted for the purpose of causing stupid drama. ALWAYS. And you knew it was coming too. They made me go and I would usually not answer. Well, maybe sometimes if it really got my nose out of joint.
ETA: I forgot to answer the question I think anyone is capable of starting drama, but if it is not their sole purpose, then yes they can redeem themselves.
