Spinoff to packing summer clothes...
About how many outfits to you by your baby/toddler each season? I feel like I am crazy and buy way too much and half the week, I am the only one who sees her dressed. I think I've got about 14 SO FAR.
ETA: Kids are now the only ones who get new clothes around here, you should see my wardrobe, lol.

DS has about 10 sleep outfits
about 15 shirts
1 sweatshirt
3 sweaters
2 sweater vests
2 oxford dress shirts
2 pairs of blue jears
2 pairs of overalls
4 pairs of pants
a fall jacket
a winter jacket
snowpants

I am so bad. I always buy too much ....DD usually has about 20 outfits for each season, plus a few extra things like sweatshirts, tees,sweatpants to lounge in. Usually about 7 pairs of pjs.

I know I ALWAYS buy too much. For summer her drawers were STUFFED and she had plenty in the closet as well. There are some things I'm finding in the bottom of the dresser or back of the closet that she never even got to wear, or only wore once.
I really think I have enough for the fall (if I were a normal person). I have to start to pull it out. Because of DH, I have it stashed in different places. But I really think the problem is the stores' fault. They keep coming out with cute stuff that Marron just HAS to have!! 
God help me when she is a teenager! I'll be as bad as her!!
