Spinoff To Nail Salon NYT Post - Where to go?
Where & what are the names of the places you ladies go that are more of a day spa vs these establishments profiled in the article?
I'm not sure I could ever go to one of those again without feeling massive guilt.

Spinoff To Nail Salon NYT Post - Where to go?
There is a good place on Laguardia called Il Villagio.... Very clean and they do great work.
On Long Island, i really like Nail Sense located in New Hyde Park.

I go to a hair salon that has 2 manicurists on staff. They're awesome and clean as could be.

I like Christopher jon salon and day spa in Sayville on Sunrise hwy.
My friend goes to Polished Skincare and Nail Bar in West Sayville. ..used to be in Bayport. ..and loves it

Such an upsetting article! I had no idea the poor manicurists situation was so bad. I have always to tipped 20% or more, but now ... that seems cheap.

See I thought about this on Friday as I got a mani and tipped more than usual. But if we all ban them what will happen to these people? Their wages cut significantly in half. It's so sad! The laws have to be changed.
