Spinoff to my own post: Generally, which is a better Washer/Dryer Brand..
LG Whirlpool Frigidare
And, if you were considering buying a home-- and the washer and dryer weren't the same brand, would that make a difference to you, even if they were like a year old?

I just bought a Bosch set two weeks ago. LOVE THEM. I had never heard of the name until I spoke to someone at an appliance store. I originally wanted to go with the Samsung set, but he convinced me otherwise.
Let me know if you want a recommendation. This guy did a phenomenol job and even wrote out most of my mail in rebate paperwork. His prices were the best (across the board) and sales tax was only 3.5%
ets: if I was buying a house with appliances included, I wouldn't care if they were two different brands- as long as I wasn't paying the seller anything extra for them.

we have the LG's and they are good- i LOVE the washer, and like the dryer... my complaint with the dryer is that the sensor dry always leaves the clothes a bit damp, and not every piece, just some of the items... so annoying. But I talked to my friend who has the same type (front loading, etc) Samsung, and she said she has the same problem- spoke with the repair guy and he said a lot of the sensor drys have this problem. my old GE profiles also had this problem
