Spinoff to Haunted School.. Your Haunted Story

I loved that post so much, I'm curious to read about other people's experiences.

Here is one of many, many of mine:

Let me just point out that it's not so much the place I'm at when these things happen, as I think I'm haunted, lol. Not by anything bad... just a little mischeivious at times...

I was at my friend's house when I was a teenager and she was at work, her sister was at her boyfriend's house and their parents were away. I was there making a cake for our friend's birthday party we were throwing later that night. I was in the computer room (on the first floor) and the oven beeped. So I went to take the cake out of the oven to cool. I put it on top of the stove. I went back into the computer room. I heard moving around upstairs then it stopped... then I heard a bang in the kitchen... then the footsteps above me again.
I went into the kitchen to find my cake upsidedown in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Apparently somone doesn't like cake!
I was freaked out so I went outside and called her at work to tell her to hurry up and come home.

For a few months, I kept getting that eery someone over your shoulders cold feeling and was scared to turn a corner in our house. One night, I woke up and turned around and saw a little boy in a striped shirt sitting not far away from me. He was there for a few seconds. I never got the cold creepy feeling again.

right after my dad passed away, I would often walk into the kitchen to find all the cabinets open

Before my grandmother died, she used to joke around with me about death. I guess she was comfortable with it. I told her not to appear to me because I'd probably get frightened. She said, don't worry, I won't appear before you, I'll just move things.

Years later, my grandmother died and I was sitting on my bed reading a book. I heard a sound above me and I looked up to see the picture over my bed turning on it's side by itself.

I was convinced that it was my grandma.
