spinoff to GPS

DH wants to get one after christmas so we are looking into a few different models. i have used the garmin before and it seemed like about half of the time, the directions were right until it came to the side of the street that the building was on (it would say left but the house was on the right). did anyone else ever have this problem?

Re: spinoff to GPS

nothing is perfect. My MDX has one built in and it has always gotten me where I needed to go but yes, I always have to look for the house or store. It's a computer.

We have 2 Garmins and have never had a problem. We have taken 3 (2 week) road trips and it has never failed us once. Maybe yours needs to be update or something

Re: spinoff to GPS

Whenever mine has been wrong it's been because the location itself was wrong.

For example, my house number is 24, but the next house after me is 16, then 18, etc.

So Garmin goes to where my house "should" be.

So really, my Garmin is smarter than my city planner. Chat Icon
