Spinoff to Frames: Designer ones...
So Im seeing that these sites offer some majore discount prices for ones such as Coach, Prada, Dior, etc.
All you have to do is provide size of lenses....so has anyone done this?
My insurance covered only these cheapy ones that I have had for for awhile.
Im wondering how it works.
I really would like a new pair...eveb if its out of pocket..but with a discount :o)
TIA!

deb do you have a AAA card? i do, and when i get my glasses at lenscrafters, i get a 30% discount off of a full pair of glasses.
since i have a very strong prescription in my left eye i need special lenses... glasses that could cost me almost $400 end up costing me between $220 and $250 most times (depending on the frames).

I bought my gucci frames online (eyeglasses.com) for 1/2 the price a few years back and just brought them to Wise Eyes to have the lenses done..it worke dout cheaper that way since my insurance company doesn't cover eyeglasses at all
