Spinoff to Energy Bulbs Post
I think I screwed something up. I had bought the energy bulbs from Home Depot and have also received a few here and there.
We have one lamp in our living room that is a very pure white light and the other 2 lamps are more of a soft yellow light.
Which is the correct one? How do you choose? Is it different types of for different fixtures?
I am clueless.

Honestly, there are different kinds, just like the incandescents (sp?)..I straight out asked the people at Home Depot when I bought them and they were quite knowledgeable...

There's Bright White, Cool White, Natural White, and a few others. "White" isn't always white. I have a few of each, depending on what effect you want. Some are closer to sunlight color, some are pure white, some have a yellowish or even blue tint to them. Some are better for reading, some give a nicer overall glow in a room, some are better for putting on makeup.
