spinoff to DH taking time off work
What would you do if DH worked overnight? Been thinking i'd rather have him home with me for a week after the hospital and just have him work while i'm in the hospital and let DS stay overnight at a family member's house.

I'd rather have DH with me when I get home... really no need for him to lose time when I'm in the hospital. Though, DH did take the days anyway, since he wanted to be there with us. Leave it up to him... but tell him you will need him more when you are home and not in the hospital.
