Spinoff to cord blood banking post...

For those of you who decided to bank your baby's cord blood, where did you get your information from?

I received some information packets in the mail but I really don't feel there is a lot of detailed information in them. Did you call and speak to a representative? Did you go to a seminar?

I would really like to do more research and have additional information before making a decision on this.

I read EVERY page of the CBR & Viacord websites, spoke with reps at both companies and reading a variety of articles on the Internet about the pros/cons/unknowns of cord blood banking...

It took quite a bit of time, but I found that it was easy to do on the nights that I just wanted to sit on the couch & veg with my laptop.

ive read a little info online (want to do a little more research about CBR and Viacord). We had a consultation with my Dr. about it and spoke to a friend who has done it

We are going with Viacord. Our friends used them as well. I think there is a seminar at Mamma Lombardis this month?? I spoke to them on the phone and found them to be very helpful and nice.
