Spinoff to Christmas Catalogue-Rushing the Seasons
Does it bother anyone else how the seasons are so rushed in retail?
I feel like it gets worse every year.
The kick off to the Christmas season used to be Thanksgiving. Now it's Halloween. Soon it will be Labor Day.
And you can buy a bathing suit in February but forget it if you need one in July.
And back to school ads seem to start like the week after the kids get out of school.
SLOW DOWN!
Let us enjoy each season please!

yeah I hate that... the good thing about it though is you can get clothes for the current season on sale since they already have the next season's stuff.

Retail has overcommercialized everything. Forget Labor Day - I saw Christmas ornaments in the Hallmark store last Saturday 
It is rediculous.

Not so much nowadays, but back in the days when I worked in retail and had to wear the clothes we sold...ummm...YEAH!
There's nothing like wearing jeans and wool sweaters in AUGUST just because it's "Back to School" time.
