Spinoff to BM paint color thread
What color do you have in your hallways?
I have a hallway that leads to all our bedrooms and the guest bathroom.
My house is a tiny ranch.
We want to repaint it because the walls are showing wear, it hasn't been painted in at least 10 years, maybe more.
Right now it's a very blah, boring, light beige.
I want to punch it up a bit, but nothing too dark or crazy color wise.
My living area is pismo dunes which is a very perfect taupe color. I don't think I want to do that down the hall too, it's a great color, but i feel like maybe it's too much to have in the living room and hallway too
What colors do you have down a hallway like I describe?

we have a ranch as well. i dont remember exact colors because it's been years but we have a sort of faux/decorative paint in the LR which has a dark color and very little light color.
we used a simliar color to the lighter part- a medium tan to go into the hallway
so basically if we didnt have the decorative part it would look like 1-2 shade lighter tan color in the hall than the LR.

I have Revere Pewter. I love it, but it's probably lighter than the color you have now. I don't think it's the punch you're looking for.

Actually looking at a swatch online I think it's deeper than what I have now.
It might work- I'd have to get a swatch and see how it looks in person.

I have lenox tan and shaker beige in my hallways. Very exciting, I know. I have revere pewter in my living room though and I love it. Again, not exactly the most exciting.

Us too, we love it! I also have, it's not BM, but I just painted my bathroom in my main hallway Sea Salt by SW and it's gorgeous!
