We got our first HD a few years ago. We were showing some friends the difference during the Oscar red carpet special  Oh my! What a difference!

My DH was hoping I would talk him out of the HD tv...instead I was pushing for the 70".
I'm all about tech stuff & gadgets, so my DH never has a problem convincing me that "we should buy" something in the AV realm.

honestly...yea I am.
I noticed a difference between having cable in our apt and going back to DTV in the house.
And now...I notice the HD.
And Am the only one that is bothered that the HD channels volume seems lower than the reg channels??

the CW affiliate here doesn't broadcast in HD - except for met games

SO much better than reg. tv. now if the PPV would go HD.... I can see actual sweat.
so far only the UFC airs their PPV in HD.

Oh me too. So is DH. If the Islander's aren't playing in HD he sometimes won't watch it, especially if it is playing on ch 14.
