Spinoff: Those Long Lost Good Feelings From... Wine
I haven't had any wine and I don't intend to; Not because I think that one glass or so is harmful in anyway, but because I truly feel intoxicated from one glass. Does that mean that my baby would also feel a bit loopy? DH thinks that I should have some here and there to help manage my stressful days. He thinks that the stress is more toxic to my body and baby than a little bit of wine (and I agree). But in no way do I want my unborn child to experience any cognitive/intoxifying effects from my actions. So, I'm wondering if I feel buzzed off one glass, would the baby also feel buzzed?

I have never heard that...I asked my Dr...because his suggestion for pre term labor is a glass of red wine every other night to one a NIGHT for some ingredient it has in it ( dont know off hand) and I was not comfortable with that.
He said one 4oz-6oz glass of wine is so processed by the body that little if any crosses the placenta.
I have not looked any further into this , I usually reseach everything to death but I have had a glass of wine here and there with this PG and also when PG with my son.
I just trust my Dr.'s advice and think when it comes down to something as serious as alcohol he would not have me taking a chance if there was any possible way of something bad happening KWIM
