Spinoff: Stupid question: Shellfish allergy, are ALL fishsticks okay?
Sorry I am new to the shellfish allergy thing. We've been scared to death of feeding DS any fish type things since we found out he had a shellfish allergy.
We know that he can't have shrimp and lobster (because every two year old has those ), but are there any kinds of fish that could be a problem? (Who knows what they put in those tasty processed fishsticks!)
And I swear Leslie, if you come up a sarcastic 'How could fish swim if they wear shells' answer, I will kick you!

Per my bag here of Gortons fish sticks.....
The first ingredient is Minced Pollock and the rest is other "stuff" that is not fish related from what I can tell...I am thinking he would be safe with these

Why I never thought about fishsticks is beyond me. Leslie always opens my eyes.

I gave DS Dr Praeger's Fish Sticks. They are "potato crusted". Anything in a french fry has to taste good.

I have a severe shellfish allergy and I am fine with regular fish, including Fishsticks.
