Spinoff: Stupid question: Shellfish allergy, are ALL fishsticks okay?

Sorry I am new to the shellfish allergy thing. We've been scared to death of feeding DS any fish type things since we found out he had a shellfish allergy.

We know that he can't have shrimp and lobster (because every two year old has those Chat Icon ), but are there any kinds of fish that could be a problem? (Who knows what they put in those tasty processed fishsticks!)

And I swear Leslie, if you come up a sarcastic 'How could fish swim if they wear shells' answer, I will kick you! Chat Icon

I gave DS Dr Praeger's Fish Sticks. They are "potato crusted". Anything in a french fry has to taste good.

I have a severe shellfish allergy and I am fine with regular fish, including Fishsticks.
