okay, I completely agree that you can't spoil a newborn, and I always pick DS up when he cries, and love the fact that I can comfort him.

There are times where he just needs to be in my arms and the boucy/swing will just not do.

However , when can spoiling occur? At how many months do they realize what that their actions will get mommy/daddy to come and pick them up?
