Spinoff: Gap and ON stores
Which have the best maternity sections? I am not an online shopper. I need to try on. I went to ON in Lake Grove, I don't even think there was a maternity section. Thanks!

Re: Spinoff: Gap and ON stores
I went to ON and there was no maternity section- they only had stuff online. I can't find any stores that carry a decent selection of maternity clothes (with the exception of actual maternity clothes).

Re: Spinoff: Gap and ON stores
Hmmm, now that I think about it I think I remember going to the ON right off Sunrise in Bayshore because they were the only one with a section.
Hmmmm, can you return ON online purchases to a store? Maybe then I would try to order online.

Old navy in bay shore has a small maternity section. I have no idea about gap. Target also has maternity as does kohls. None of them have huge sections but are decent enough.

You can't which has deterred me from ordering from them!

The Westbury ON (in the Source) has a good Maternity section. Same with the Gap in Roos Field.

Actually you can return Old Navy online purchases to a store, I just did it a week ago I've been to two Old Navy's in search of maternity clothes and the maternity sections were both tiny and ransacked! Online is definitely the way to go, just keep in mind, their pants run a little big (I ordered one size down).

Most of the maternity stuff on old navy.com can only be returned by mail. It has not deterred me though. I only buy if I have a coupon and free shipping. To return by ups is only $6

wow I had no idea!! I just returned like $150 worth of maternity clothes in store that I ordered online- jeans, dresses & tops, all maternity! It's worth it to order online though b/c there is hardly any selection instore for maternity stuff.

Re: Spinoff: Gap and ON stores
Thanks everyone. I did see some stuff at Kohls, my Target had NOTHING, but I may hit the MM outlet today or Roosevelt Field/Source Malls this weekend. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I've returned mail only clothing back to the stores, they just scan the packing slip and your items they dont even mark anything on the packing slip.
Also on their website they will state if they have a maternity section if you use the store locator.

Re: Spinoff: Gap and ON stores
90% of the stuff I order from ON says you can't return to the store, but I guess you can! It's worth trying out a bunch of stuff online b/c the selection is SO much better. Returning in the mail is super easy too, just tape the bag it came in and put it in the mailbox.

Yes just keep the bags that the clothes come in b/c it's the only way they can scan them in the store (it's weird b/c they don't have any tags on the clothes they send you!).

Interesting, I just assumed no because it says on the packing slip "mail returns only" but it can't hurt to try. If they tell me no I will just return through mail that's all
