Spinoff: Fireplace

I'm not a huge fan of the tile on our fire place... it's dark gray tile and I'm looking to make the room a beige color.

Anyone know how much it would cost to resurface a 1/2 wall to all stone?

Or anyone have any other recommendations to make the tile match the decor of a beige room?
