Spinoff - what is the least $ amount you made on an eBay auction?
I think I am more successful in this category, sadly! 
I sold a pair of NWOT Express pants for $1.60  I guess it was my fault for starting them at 99 cents

If I start an auction at 99-cents, I am willing to part with it at that price. If not, I set a reserve price. Cheapest I ever sold something for was probably like $5.
I bought my 50-lb US postal scale on ebay for 1-cent. Really, all I paid for was shipping! And it wasn't an excessive amount too! Good deal!

break even with what I spent to sell it
sometimes I start at .99 and they sell for .99
some go for $40
you never know!

The liner went missing but I still think I could've got more for it if I hadn't started it at $.99.

i sold a set of pillows for $1.33. I had bought them from someone else on ebay for $15 and didn't like them. THEN, the buyer left me neutral feedback because she was disspleased with them. They were $1.33!! I only made $1 off shipping. Oy!
I bought a brand new with tags banana republic shirt for $5.

I lost $$ once on a shipment to Canada. I couldn't fit it into 1 box, so I split it into 2.
DUHHH!! I paid 2x the amount of shipping and only charged for 1 package

I lost money. I tried to sell something and when I saw that it was only going to go for 99 cents (after I paid a LOT more), I canceled the auction and still had to pay the seller's fees.

I lost money with my Tiffany necklace. I was selling it around Christmas and it was up to $225 but the listing got removed from ebay because it is illegal to sell Tiffany items (which it was 100% legit and I was back and fourth on the phone with the supervisor and all). I relisted it right before V-Day and it sold for $88. I know I could have gotten more but ebay said they get suspicious when Tiffany's items are being oversold (the necklace was only $150 in stores). Not my fault people bid it up that high.

I lost money on shipping, i miscalculated the shipping cost-STUPID!
it was one of my 1st sales tho-so i chalk it up to a "learning experience"!
