spinoff - bangs with curly hair?
i love the idea of bangs, especially since i am trying to grow out the rest of my hair.
the only thing is i have curly hair that i never blow-dry straight. will straight, side-swept bangs look bad?
i don't have a recent pic but my hair right now is chin-length and not SUPER curly, but more than wavy.

I have curly hair, and agree you shoud not have curly hair with straight bangs, looks VERY outdated, but you can do bangs, just leave them curly, Mariah Carey had a nice curly haircut with bangs, I will tr to find it for you. Where do you get your hair cut, this is key to a good haircut with an honest stylist ho knows what he/she is doing

i love the idea of bangs and haven't had them since i was a kid and my hair was pin straight. so i feel your pain!
i've tried to do the straight bangs with curly hair and i'm not a big fan of it on me, but it might look different on you. if you're up for something different, go for it, but if you don't think you'll like it for too long, keep your hair the way it is! wish i had better advice!

Bleh...I would never leave my hair curly and straighten my bangs...go all 'FRO mama or all straight...not a mixture of both...

that's kind of how my hair is now - my bangs are growing out and they are side-swept, they are straight halfway down like the rest of my hair and curly at the bottom. it doesn't look bad but i was looking for a change.
i do not look good with curly bangs 
Jaime my hair doesn't "fro" anymore - i wish it did!!

For me it depends. Some days I can get the curls to look nice as bangs, but other days I have to blow dry straight so I don't look like a poodle I think if it's a smaller section and not pin pin pin straight it looks fine, but then again my hair is curly since getting pg, so who the hellll knows if it looks good because NOBODY would tell me for fear of being killed
