Spinoff - back pain

So I was in a car accident when I was 16 and my back has been messed up since then. It does not hurt all the time but very often it will bother me. For some reason, when I was pregnant, it did not hurt at all.

After I had my dd, it started hurting again so I went to the Dr. He gave me a steroid shot and some oral steroids which helped while I was taking them and ordered an MRI...

The MRI came back normal except for some arthritis in my back...any ideas on what can help with this arthritis pain? Dr. had given me anti-inflamatory pills but they do not do anything for the pain

What about physical therapy or acupuncture? I have a horrible back and I'm finally going to start acupuncture next week. My dr. does it in her office and I know it has really almost cured my sister of some severe neck pain.

Have you considered going to a good chiropractor?

ETA - I suffered a bad back injury a few years ago and suffer from lower back pain. I'm considering starting to go to a chiropractor now. My mom used to go to a great one - I'm trying to figure out if he's still around...

Physical Therapy has helped me tremendously. I haven't been there since before I delivered DS and now it is TERRIBLE. Last night I was giving Steven a bath and my muscles got so tense, I couldn't finish.

I would def look into Physical Therapy it helped me so much
