Spin-off to Sesame place thread

How old do you think is appropriate for Sesame Place? DS will be 1 in May. Do you think this could be a late summer trip.. or should we wait for next year?

Re: Spin-off to Sesame place thread

I haven't been there since I was a kid, but from what I remember and from what I've heard I think it might be a little too young. DD will be 2 this summer so we'll be taking her. I know there'll be a lot for her to do, but there will still be stuff that SHE'S too little for.

Re: Spin-off to Sesame place thread

We took DD at 18 months and she was a good age. I think closer to 1 might not get as much out of it. I think next summer when he'll be a little over 2 would be perfect.

I would wait until next year.

We took DD at 18mo and she didn't enjoy much of anything besides the shallow water and the characters. Not worth the $$$$ at that age.

Re: Spin-off to Sesame place thread

We took DS#1 @ 10 months ( we were with older children too) and he loved it!!!

The shows, the characters, the parades, the water, and the crawling/climbing gym thing....

We are taking DS#2 this summer (he will be 1) along with our 4.5yr old DS#1..

I say if you wanna go..then go... DS will enjoy it!

We are going to try and go this year, DS will be around 21 months. I would not have taken him before a year, I don't think he would have had as much fun, and I wanted him to be walking when we went so we could enjoy the sprinklers too.

Re: Spin-off to Sesame place thread

Chelsea was 18 months when we took her and she had a blast. She was able to go in all the kiddie pools and some of the rides as long as I went on with her.
