Spin-off to my frozen embie post...
Do you think it will eventually become a "trend" for females to freeze embryos early on in marriage, etc...to use at a later date because of carreers, financial reasons, or whatever ???
Just curious....

Only if it gets to be less expensive, I can't imagine a couple who isn't even thinking about trying spending $15k "just in case". But, if the freezing of eggs gets better I would think a lot of women may consider doing that especially if they plan on waiting for kids or haven't gotten married by a certain age.

I know of two that have already and one that is considering doing it, so I think that it's already becoming a practice.

Yes. In fact when I was going through an IVF cycle in Feb, there was a young woman (early 20's) who was freezing her embryos.
