if you really hate the newest trend do you follow it anyway to be "IN" or do you do your own thing and wear what you like.

I'm not really much of a trendy person. I just buy what looks OK on me. If it's a little bit trendy, that's fine...but for the most part I stick to "basics" thta I can mix and match and nothing over the top.
No...I won't be doing the legging thing...although I'm sure my 18 year old sister will and she'll look GREAT! Pair it with her gigantic gold pleather bag and these crazy white 70s looking hoop earings she's got...she can pull it off.

I usually get one or two trendy pieces that are relatively inexpensive and stick mostly to classics.

I'm not a trendy person and for the most part I don't follow trends. If there is something in particular that I like I get it, but not because it the "in" thing of the moment.

I have always been somewhat classic in my style. Sometimes I sway a little to the old school prep. I usually stick with traditional pants and skirts and let the tops be a little trendy but no really trendy.

I do my own thing, what I feel looks good on me.
I tend to think of myself as an old soul anyway & lean towards vintage-style clothing a lot of the time, especially for Fall styles.

If it doesn't look right on me, I will not even go there.
As far as the new trends that come out I usually like a few , hate a few and try to balance it out.

nope...if I dont like it I will NOT wear it.
For example...gaucho pants..not afn of them, and DID NOT wear them because everyone else was

If you are asking if I will wear leggings, the answer is no. They made my azz look fat back in the 80s when I did not even have an azz yet...now...fughettaboutit
ETA: plus I think it is a weird look anyway.......but I think some people can pull it off. just not me
