We have a date of March 24th!!!
At first we were given a May 1st closing date, but then the seller contacted us and asked if we could close earlier. I am pregnant and due on May 21st so, of course, we said YES!!!

Congrats to everyone who is also closing!!! I am so hoping it is Thurs or Fri of this week for us. We already have half our apartment ready to go, and since our lease isn't up until the end of April, we can take our time with moving all our junk.
We still plan to move in right away though!!!

Congrats to everyone who is also closing!!! I am so hoping it is Thurs or Fri of this week for us. We already have half our apartment ready to go, and since our lease isn't up until the end of April, we can take our time with moving all our junk.
We still plan to move in right away though!!!
We have a grand total of three boxes of books packed. We aren't planning on actually moving in until mid-April, but we have our apartment until the end of May, so we can take our time with all our stuff.
I start teaching graduate school two nights a week this semester, in addition to my full-time job, and as such, have been swamped, and feel like I have no time to pack. Of course, I could be packing now instead of posting here!

Luckily, my DH has been on fire with the packing!! I was at a baby shower earlier today, and he packed up all of our books, stereo system and took apart part of the entertainment center.
He brought a bunch of stuff to his mom's and they will help transfer it to our house when we get the keys.
I can't really take time off since I just started a new job, so the thought of moving and trying to feel somewhat settled is quite overwhelming right now!!

We are!! We were scheduled to close 3/20 but I don't think it's going to happen that day. Hopefully it will be the following week.
