spent the ngiht in the hosptal and im sooo annoyed!!!!!!

My dr is hanauer and her on call dr Dolisci. . if u see her take my advice and know that DR. D always jumps the gun on everything. I should of known better then to listen to him!!!!so i called the dr yesterday bc for the past 2 days i have noticed a clear fluid slowly leaking... my dr wasnt on call but Dr. D was. He immediately sent me over to wintrop thinking my water broke and i had a slow leak...i get there they do this first test and tell me no my water didnt break.. ( at this point we didnt call anyone bc we didnt know what to expect) so i think im going home... 10 minutes later they came in and they said they ran another test and YES infact my water did break. Wei were so excited!!! they admitted me and they told me they were going to induce me and it could take a while bc i wasnt dialated. this is when we called family/friends... they hook me up and got me in a room.. an hr later another dr come in and said they are going to run another NEW test bc one test came back positive and one test came back negative for my water breaking....so they run this new test...and of course the results come back 1 1/2 hrs later saying infact i didnt break my water and that i could go home... we got there around 630pm and i left around 1230am... if i could sue anyone fo this roller coaster ride i would...i feel so fu cked with....emotionally..im drained... HOPEFULLY the next time im admtted it will be the real deal.

I am sorry that you had to spend the night in the hospital for nothing. I know that Dr. D always will err on the side of caution.

Its par for the course for being pregnant. Its gonna get even more hectic soon. So try to relax. They were trying to help you. Im sure Dr. Dolisis couldnt have told you, well just stay hoem and dont worry about when you called him to tell him you were leaking.

Try to relax as much as you can...sorry for your experience.

I'm sorry you had a rough night but in defense, there are very few doctors that are going to tell you not to worry about leaking fluid and just stay home. Remember they are talking to you over the phone so they can't see what you're talking about. Any responsible dr. will want you checked out.

At least they are concerned and didn't just have you sit at home. Did they say what the fluid was?
