spent 3 days
in Westchester Medical Center with DD. She got the horrible stomach virus Monday night and threw up more than 20 times in 24 hours. Took her for IV fluids in the ER and was released on Tuesday night. She slept for 14 hours on Wed. and wouldn't eat or drink, then she started vomiting again. She was totally unresponsive to sound or faces. Took her back to the ER Wed. night and she was admitted. She was finally released last evening, after 3 days of IV fluids and anti-nausea meds and fluids. She is much better, but still has a very weak stomach, is hardly eating/drinking, and has diarrhea. My poor baby girl! She turned 2 about a month ago.....she looked so LITTLE in the hospital gown with all the tubes attached. I am just thankful that she is OK and much more herself.
