Speech ques

My son was going to speech 2x/week through my insurance but he does not qualify anymore but I still feel he could use the help. Has anyone ever heard of a speech teacher providing services not through an agency? Kind of like how you can hire teachers as tutors to come to your home? tia

Yes. You can use an agency and pay out of pocket.

Most teachers will work through an agency because that's where they get work from. But you can still pay the agency instead of the county paying

Yes or you can find a speech therapist that does private work and pay out of pocket. Or you could go through an agency and pay out of pocket. Do you mean he doesn't qualify because he's made progress or that you used up all of your sessions that are covered by insurance?

The teacher told me he doesnt qualify anymore because everything he is doing is age appropriate for 2 years 11 months. I imagine paying someone privately would be less expensive than paying an agency out of pocket?
