special detergent?
do we have to wash our baby clothes in specail detergent? Did anyone not?

we use free and clear detergent with no dyes or perfumes, especially because DS has very sensitive skin. I use whatever brand is on sale as long as it meets my criteria LOL

My ped suggested that we use a dye/perfume free detergent so I used the Dreft that I received at my shower. I washed all of DDs clothes with it until I ran out which was about 3 months. Then I started washing her clothes with the rest of ours using Tide. For baby's sensitive skin- esp when first born, I think it is advisable to use a dye/perfume free detergent.

We use whatever free and clear detergent that is on sale. We all use it b/c my dog is allergic to detergent.

i have always used whatever detergent was in the house and it was usually ALL or Tide and i ALWAYS washed DSs clothes with ours.
i used bleach with the whites as well.
DS never had a problem with using reg detergent and my OB and ped said it was fine.

I got Dreft at my shower and used that til I ran out at about 6 mths and then switched to All free and Clear. I still use that at age 3 bc she has sensitive skin (and so do I )

I use Dreft. DD is 19 mos old and I'm only on the second Costco-sized bottle of it. When this runs out, I will switch to a Free & Clear version of something else.
