Speaking of transitions....night-time without a pullup??

Emily has been 100% daytime potty trained for over a week now. Yesterday was 1 week without an accident. She's doing great.

We used the last pull-up last night. We've been putting them on her for bedtime.

She does stay dry during naps.

She wakes up about half the time in the AM dry, half wet....very wet.

Do we go and buy another pack of pull-ups and prolong the night-time training, or do we just go cold turkey night training tonight?

She is in a crib so she can't just get up and pee whenever she wants at night.....

I will go crazy with the waterproof pads though, just in case.

We went cold turkey once we ran out of diapers. Dh also brings her to the bathroom around 1130 to pee while she's still sleeping.

It's a mixed bag with us - some mornings she wakes up dry, some mornings she's sopping wet. Until today, she would just sleep through wetting herself, but last night at 4am she woke up and came to me because she was wet, which, in my mind, is an improvement. I want her to wake up and realize she has to pee rather than just sleep through it when she wets her bed.

This, I suspect, will take MUCh longer than daytime pottytraining.

We took pull ups away after DD was trained for a while...and she was in a big girl bed. The whole crib thing would have disrupted our sleep routine too much, but that's just us...

Once she went in a big girl bed for a couple of weeks, I was hesitant to try it, but I realized I was more attached to the pull ups than she was. She had an accident a couple of nights, and then was night trained.

Are you planning on putting her in a big girl bed soon?

Also, a lot of kids regress with potty training...you think they have it mastered, then bam, they start having accidents again...not all kids, but some.
