speaker phone
do you use it at work? in an private office i understand b/c it is probably easier. but there is a woman in my office who is making her personal calls using the speaker phone. i don't need to her your conversations. drives me nuts.
thoughts?

No because I hate when people have me on speaker phone. I can barely understand what they are saying to me.

I agree it is stragne to conduct personal calls on a speaker phone...maybe they want the attention????

I hate speaker phone. DH called me yesterday and told me something that he did for me and I responded with "Good Boy, thank you" and his coworkers were apparently standing there and started cracking up at me calling him "Good Boy" like a mommy.
I was mortified!

If I am speaking to someone one-on-one and they are using a speakerphone, I keep saying "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear that" until they pick up the phone. I find it very annoying.

Unless it is a conference call, I will always ask the person to take me off speaker phone. It is so hard to hear!

That will teach him! 
I hate it in the office. The only time it didn't annoy me was when a co-worker used to use it when she was on hold. She would put it on speaker while waiting for them to come back and then she would pick up the regular line.

Except for conference calls, I don't like to use a speaker phone. I always ask the person to pick up the phone.
The woman in the office next to me seems to only use the speaker which is annoying but she screams into it...all day long it's ROBERT, MORRIS etc.
