Spare carseat
We finally switched my year old son to a convertible car seat. We have a Britax in my car but are looking for a cheaper alternative for my husband's car. It's rare that my husband has him alone and if we are altogether, we take my car. I think my husband used the infant seat in his car 5 times all year.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a budget friendly convertible car seat for my husband's car?

We got the Cosco for father in law as backup. Has been used 3-4 times to pick her up when sick. All very local driving. No complaints.

My MIL has the evenflo tribute. I don't recommend it. It's just as safe as any other seat, but it's annoying to clip and hard to manipulate the straps.
