OMG I made this last night for a dinner party we had to go to. I haven't made it from scratch in SO long. It was so good!! I wish I would have brought some home but I definitely didn't need another piece of that crispy, buttery goodness.

Re: Spanakopita
I just glanced at the recipe from Food Network since it had been a while.
I used 4 packages of frozen chopped spinach. Thawed and drained very, very well. Sautee onions and 4-5 cloves of garlic. Add spinach and season with salt and pepper.
Melt 2 sticks of butter, pour 1/4-1/2 cup milk in a separate bowl and beat 1-2 eggs in it's own bowl.
butter bottom of cookie sheet pan. Add a few sheets of phyllo dough and brush with butter and milk. Repeat several times make a decent bottom layer of dough.
Add spinach mixture. Top with a generous amount a crumbled feta cheese
Then repeat the step for the bottom layer to form a nice top layer.
On your very top layer butter the phyllo dough as you had been and also brush with the beaten egg.
I also tuck the edges and corners in.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 min.
