Re: Spagetti Squash
I bake it and scrape it. Then I top the strands with whatever I feel.
The easiest is just a little parm and a bit of butter and olive oil. Add some s&p... and serve it as a side. DELICIOUS!
I also like to sometimes half some cherry or grape tomatoes, sautee them in olive oil for a couple of minutes with garlic, onion and basil - then toss the mix with the squash strands.
Another thing I have done is to make a meat mixture by adding ground pork and/or beef or ground turkey to some sauteed onions and garlic and browning it. Season with salt and pepper. Throw in a little tomato sauce and than mix with the strands - then re-fill the squash 'boat' as a server.
ETA: By Bake and Scrape I mean that I puncture the squash all over with a fork and put in the oven for about an hour or so (350-375). Cut it in half - take out the seeds and junk in the middle and use my fork to scrape the flesh into strands. The strands are what I dress up.

I usually bake it also and scrape with a fork then add butter salt & pepper. But I love your other suggestions!!! I am totally trying them. Thanks!!

Re: Spagetti Squash
I cut mine in half and then i put it face down in a large pot filled with 2 inches of water. I let it cook for 20 mins and then I scrape it. Then I take a pan and put some olive oil and minced garlic. I toss the spaghetti squash in the pan and sautee with the oil and garlic. Then I top this with fresh parsley, greated parmesan cheese, and basil. Makes a great side dish with chicken parmesan
