Soy yogurt?

Abby is ready for yogurt but she is on soy and not ready for milk products. Does soy yogurt exist and if so, what brands do you use? Where can I get it? TIA

Re: Soy yogurt?

Yup - silk makes a good soy yogurt. You can find it in any market - we get ours at Acme.Silk soy products

Re: Soy yogurt?

Thanks. I'm assuming that I should stay away from berry flavors correct?

Re: Soy yogurt?

Leslie, I've tried them all (lactose intolerant momma here) and I will say that O'Soy is the best out there. It's made by Stonybrook farms.

Ethan loves them.

We use O'Soy too. Another one I use is SO Delicious. They have Soy based and Coconut milk based yogurt products.

Ohhh thank you for posting this! I haven't seen any yet but DD is lactose intolerant and we are in the process of switching her to soy so this was very helpful!

when my ped told me to start yogurt she said only plain or vanilla since the fruit yogurts have a lot of sugar in them (except for the yobaby kind i think). so yes, i'd stay away from berry if it were me.

I am almost positive their is dairy protein in it because I don't give it to DD. I know the Stoneybrook soy milk has milk proteins in it. I give her Silk produts or So Delicious which I prefer giving her because it is thicker and easier for her eat but it is So expensive too. Their is also Zensoy but I have a hard time finding their products.

Stonyfield does have dairy in it. I either buy Silk or Whole Soy & Co.

Re: Soy yogurt?

As some of the other have said just read labels! Some Soy products do have dairy in them! I usually buy DS Silk, Wholesoy, or Trader Joe's
