not at all - I grew up there 
lovely neighboorhood and people when I was growing up there
Nassakeag Elementary, Murphy Jr. High,
Wardmelville HS (which I did not go b/c we moved)
I am sill friends with some I went to kindergarten with believe it or not

I dont' think it's too good to be true. We actually looked in that area when we were research suffolk county. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the power line running through part of the area and that kind of bothered DH and I. If that doesn't bother you, I say go for it!
