south nassau moms - 12 mth blood work?
where did you take DC? i dont think its going to be a huge issue b/c Jack won't really know whats coming but I dont want someone to have to poke around  i want it done in 1 shot!!

(how awful was it? any tips?)

Just went  to Mercy Lab in the Ryan Medical Center at Mercy Hospital. They were amazing with the boys. Yes they did cry for a minute but she only had to stick them once and it was really quick. They showed me how to hold them so they couldn't really move. She said they do tons of LOs there so they are really good with the kids.
They are open M-F 7am - 5pm. We went on a Monday around 11am and there was no one there.

We went to Quest Labs in Mineola.
Just did it last weekend at almost 16 months. I am such a wuss.
Honestly, it wouldnt have been that bad except DD moved and the needle fell out so they had to do it AGAIN in the other arm....
She was hysterical in there but by the time we got in the car she was fine! Good luck!

No advice on location but, when I took DS, the anticipation was A LOT worse than the actual thing.
