South Manor/Eastport Schools
Are they same? I know it is manorville SD but are they different? I see that part of mastic that is in south manor SD

Yes, Eastport and South Manor merged a few years back. A small part of Mastic is in that school district, but that part is not really Mastic, its called Manor Park.

Yes, Eastport and South Manor merged a few years back. A small part of Mastic is in that school district, but that part is not really Mastic, its called Manor Park.

The address is Mastic. My parents live in Manor Park. My younger brother and sisters go to ESM.

The elementary schools are seperate, but it is the same district and the MS and HS are together.

The address is Mastic. My parents live in Manor Park. My younger brother and sisters go to ESM.
Yup, it is Mastic, although there have been rumors it will get its own post office, but I doubt it. You have to be North of Grove St in Mastic to go to ESM.

its a very long process to get a zip code & seperate post office. We have been looking into it in my town & its damn near impossible.

Eastport/South Manor is the same school SD.
However, I believe there are two separate elementary schools, 1 for Eastport kids 1 for Manorville and Manor Park kids.
The middle/highschool is brand new and BEAUTIFUL!!! Kids from Eastport, Manorville and Manor Park all go there. I run on the track at the school and I just LOVE it. It's so peaceful.
I live in Manor Park, I actually have Manor Park on my return address labels. I am also on the Manor Park civic association and their are a few members who are working on getting the zip code change. That isn't my major priority so I am on other committees. I am on the committee working on getting lights and sidewalks on Campbell road and working on a Manor Park sign for our neighborhood.
I love my neighborhood, we have really good neighbors, their are a ton kids and everyone is really friendly. A very neighborhoody feel, which is what I wanted.
When we were looking for houses, I wanted either South Manor/Eastport SD or East Moriches and I am so happy I found this neighborhood that has the Mastic zip code, but all the benefits of the Manorville zip code (School District, Manorville Fire and Ambulance, etc...) but lower taxes than Manorville residents.
