sound machine vs cd player

Just curious which i should get. I could get the CD player and then play nature sounds through that. Any suggestions?

I have used a CD player in DS's room since he was born. I have always every night played a Classical CD for him.

I swear that is why he is so smartChat Icon Chat Icon

I just bought the CD player that attaches to the crib for DD and plan on doing the same.

Sometimes I did play the Vacuum and Washing Machine CD because when he was cranky or not feeling well, that is all that worked.

Re: sound machine vs cd player

We have had a sound machine since DD was 6 months old- what a Godsend for my very light sleeper.

We had a CD player but it was bulky to travel with. Now we have a sound machine that we got at BedBathBeyond for $18- its really small and works great. It has a heartbeat feature that I dying to try with the new baby. Chat Icon

Re: sound machine vs cd player

We have and use both. The sound machine was good for all night play. We actually burned out a couple of CD players from playing them too often and for too long. Now I use the CD player just for naps & the sounds machine for night sleep.
