Sort of a Spinoff: If a desiger bag rips?

What do you do?


The lining ripped on my Michael Kors tote. I don't know how it happenned. I actually thing one of the cast members of a school show did it when he insisted on borrowing it for a play, because I ABUSED that bag and it never ripped for me. I think he tried to yank the little wallet piece out not knowing it was attached

Either that or it just randomly ripped

Should I bring it to a MK store?

I bought it at MAcy's and it's a few seasons old.

i know you can get bags fixed at the shoemaker but that's if the strap breaks or something. what if you bring it to a tailor and have them sew it?

I would go to the Michael Kors website and call a number or write an email. IF a designer is any good at all, they will replace it or repair it. I remember my Dad had a pair of Timberland shoes for like 10 years and he wore them only a few times and they ripped....Timberland sent him a brand new pair.

I haven't had anything happen to my designer bags (thankfully!!) but if anything were to happen I would probably call them first to find out what the repair policy is.

99% of high end companies stand behind their products. That’s why I can justify spending $$ on a pair of really great sunglasses or a bag. I had a pair of Maui Jim’s for 4 yrs and just like that they snapped in half. So for $6 shipping, I got a brand new pair sent to me

Definately call Kors and have it fixed. I had a rip in my Chanel bag and they fixed it no problem. Kors should do the same.
