sorry...another glucose test question
my instructions say to fast 2 hours prior to drinking the stuff....does that include water?

You can still drink water but I would fast for 12 hours before. When they give you the drink, on the label it says should be fasting i forget for how many hours.

thanks! my dr's instructions were just to fast 2 hours prior to the drink...anyway the test is in 3 hours so it would be too late to fast for 12 hrs at this point

so strange! i was instructed to continuously drink water while waiting for my blood to be taken, after drinking the drink!
