about phlegm (mucus)....
I constantly feel it in the back of my throat and when i try to hack it up or get rid of that feeling I end up vomiting....is this normal?? Also when I look in the throat with a flash light...lol I dont ever see anything. Has anyone ever had this?? I feel like there could be something else wrong since I have had thyroid issues in the past (not saying one has to do with the other) but I guess its just me being a worry wart.

Are you in the first trimester?
I ask because I get a queasy feeling in my stomach and I feel like I have post nasal drip. I'm 5.5 weeks but I felt the same way last time I was pregnant too. It almost feels like something is in the back of my throat like when you're sick (mucus or phlegm like you said) and I swallow a lot. With my last pregnancy it continued to get worse and worse until I eventually had all day sickness. Right now the queasiness isn't that bad but it feels like it's coming from the back of my throat.

That was me the entire last pregnancy and this one too. I am 22 weeks and I still have it, especially when I wake up in the morning. It's gross but I have come to accept it. I usually gag/dry heave but don't throw up. Hope you feel better.

I definitely had this in the 1st tri. I didnt throw up every time I had to clear the mucus but I did dry heave and feel really nauseous. It passed in a couple of weeks but it was so gross and yucky feeling for awhile.

i had horrible post nasal drip in my first trimester. i even vomitted a few times from it. it didn't last long though. as soon as my next appointment was coming up and i planned to mention it, it was gone.
