Sorry for sharing TMI but
does a contraction feel like gas as if you have to let one out? 
I have been feeling this since yesterday, I get a sharp pain, my stomach gets tight but then it feels like I have to let one out and when I do it goes away.
Sounds like gas doesn't it? 
Sorry for being so graphic

No. Not really.
Well yesterday morning I had a mild pain on the lower left side of my back but than it went away. At night I felt like I had gas and now this morning I occassionally get this sharp gas pain feeling. It feels like I have to let one out and when I do the pain goes away which leads me to believe it may be gas. I also occassionally feel pressure in my arse.
I just don't know what contractions feel like so every little pain I feel I think it could be one

I've been having this too lately and i'm pretty sure it's just gas. I thought it was BH, but then from what i read, it didn't sound like it.

It feels like a menstrual cramp. but it radiates from the front to back. no matter what you do (walk, lay down, sit still) it continues to hurt.
