Sorry for Crashing...baby shower gift opinion
I have my friend's shower this weekend, and wanted an opinion on this gift...her husband is in the fire department and I fell in love with it for the nursery. I know how she is decorating the nursery because she actually used the same paint colors and bedding I used in my DC's baby nursery. I am feeling bad now I didn't get her something off her registery but so many people did I wanted to get something different, I am wondering if I should also run out and get something else as well. TIA

I think this is very cute! If you know that she will appreciate it and it will get used, then I say go for it. If you also want to get her something small off her registry, then you could do that too, like bibs or burp cloths or even a pacifier.

I wouldn't! With my 1st son I got a lot of stuff. But my favorite gift at my shower was something I didn't have on my registry and have never even seen. It was a beautiful, soft Siberian Husky blanket with a head, feet and a tail. I LOVE it still! We have 2 Siberian Huskies and I thought it was an awesome gift! Very thoughtful!

ITA with this. Its adorable and Im sure she will love it since it has personal meaning. A good friend of mine bought me something for my bridal shower that was not on my registry and I loved it!!

Oh good! I know I've been to so many showers where people have received such unique gifts that weren't on their registry. I checked her registry first to see that she got a lot of the stuff she wanted before I ordered it. It actually came in and it is so cute and vintage. I love this picture if I have a son I am getting it for his nursery bc DH is in the same volunteer fire department as her husband.
