Sooo, I need your advice--do we move her nursery/room or not?

The upstairs set up to our house is a little weird...basically, our master bedroom is the last room to get to, but you walk through another room to get to it...and we made this "other room" the nursery

so you must walk through nursery to get to our room...initially we thought this was great because DD is RIGHT next to us....

but she sleeps 7pm-7am....so we walk through there in the evening/night...

She doesn't wake up when we walk through, but as she gets older & more alert...maybe she will and noticed us? And when she naps, we walk through there too....I mean, we are quiet but my dogs seem to jingle their collars even louder when we walk through for some reason

SO....we have a guest room too upstairs....would you change the guestroom to into the nursery? I think we'll be in this house for another 2-3yrs and then move....I don't think DD being in that room for that long will work...

Also, if we change her room, I have two times when its convenient to do it...at 5 months or at 10months...is either time better?

I hope I'm making some sense and TIA!

Its up to you. I will say My DS is now 2, and I go into his room a lot after he is asleep to put laundrey away or just to check on him, eh sleeps right through it..I have a dog too, no jingles but a happy tail that wacks the side of the crib.

You might be fine, I guess it depends on how easily she wakes??

See, that's what I heard! People that have older kids tell me: Oh, once they see you its over Chat Icon

It's gonna be a PITA to move it, but maybe its better we do it now....I guess I just can't imagine DD even standing yet (cause she's only 3 months)....but I hear when they stand in the crib, and if they see you...its over

They don't need to stand to see you!

My MIL always slept in DDs room (she comes every Sunday night and watches DD on Mondays), but now that DD is older (just about 9 months) she can't do that anymore, DD would see my MIL sleeping and start wailing. Once they are more alert and see/hear you that's it...sleep time is over.

I would move her as soon as you can.
