Soo upset..Ped has no booster for flu shot.

Brody got his flu shot at his 1 year appointment in September. He is scheduled for the booster next week.

I called the Ped regarding something for DD and mentioned his appt. I was told that they have no boosters. Noboby called me...

Apparently, there was such a rush by the government to produce the H1N1 shot, that regular and booster flu shot production was halted.

After first flu shot, baby is only 50% protected. After the booster, protection goes up to 80%..

I am ******.... not even a phone call. I know it's not their fault, but I am still upset..

I even called CVS Minute Clinic, and they only have shots for ages 9 and up..

Anyone have any ideas??

I called my ped office to make an appt for Kaydyn to get her shot and they said they do not have any (she only needs 1 b/c this is her 2nd year getting it). They just told me to keep calling because they have no idea when they are going to get them in.
