Son not sleeping through night HELP

My son is almost 5 months old. He started out sleeping through the night for a few weeks, then he would be up every hour I would go in his room give him his pinky and turn his music on that seemed like it lasted forever. Now I'll feed him around 9pm rock him a put him to bed. He gets up a few hours later but not to eat. He does that a few times during the middle of the night. I don't know what else to do his formula has cereal already mixed in plus I give him cereal throughout the day. I am going nuts. I also have a 15month old so I literally get no rest. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I am going through the same thing with my DD who is also 5 months. I kept hearing from people that once you start them on solids, they sleep through the night. We have been giving her cereal for the past 2 weeks and she is still so RESTLESS! She goes down so easy at 8 but then moves around so much usually after 12. We give her a binky and usually she'll go back down for a little while but then is up at 4 or 5 for a bottle. Last night she got up at 3, not crying just awake making baby sounds, got the hiccups and I finally gave her a bottle - she slept til 8.

I feel your pain and would appreciate advice also.

I swear by the book, "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" to get a child to sleep through the night. It IS a form of CIO, but they give you tips on how to modify it. Basically, it's a whole sllep training method. The better your child naps, the better your child will sleep at night.

We used it when DD was about 9 months old and it WORKED!!!
