Something that feels like a heartbeat in my lower belly
Is that my Babylicious or just my own heartbeat? It doesn't feel like gas bubbles I don't think, it feels like a thump, kind of like a heart beat. But I don't think it's in time with my own heartbeat. And its forceful, and my own heart doesn't usually beat that forcefully.
I'm only 15 weeks, but this is my second pregnancy. I didn't feel the baby move in my first pregnancy because it ended at 21w, but the baby had problems long before then, so I wouldn't be able to feel it.

That's probably the baby!!!! It is common to feel our own pulse, so if it's rythmic and constant it's more likely the pulse but at 15 weeks I'd say babylicious!

That's what I was thinking.
Yea, this is what I think it is too. I have had the same feeling...they're like little thumps and they are pretty consistent. I think its hiccups.

Ive read the baby cant hiccup until 25 weeks because their lungs dont start to function on their own until then.... I dont know if thats true or not cause i thought i felt hiccups too before that...
But i also get the heartbeat feeling but i think its just our pulse being felt through our fingers.

it might be the baby if it feels like flutters when you aren't touching it.
however if its in a very low spot it might be the veins delivering blood to the placenta. they pulse and pound and even with a doppler are sometimes mistaken for a heartbeat. however it generally is a slower beat than what a baby's heartbeat would be.
